Trailer of the movie “Bohomaan”
Veteran actors Soumitra Chatterjee and Aparna Sen are all set to play separated lovers in director Anumita Dasgupta’s upcoming film Bohomaan. This will be Anumita Dasgupta’s second movie as a director who has also written the screenplay for the film. Earlier she had made a small film in 2013 named Jumeli.
Recently the trailer of the film has been released and it gives us a hint of the story that revolves around the two separated lovers. Soumitra Chatterjee is playing a Muslim man Salim and Aparna Sen will be seen as a Hindu woman Madhuri. They both were in love with each other during their younger age but they could not marry because of different religions. This separated couple reunites at old age after a gap of almost fifty years and this time they want to give their relationship a second chance. But once again they have to face opposition and this time from Madhuri’s son Subrata played Bratya Basu. Subrata is not ready to accept this new change in his mother’s life. Arpita Chatterjee is playing Joyeeta, Subrata’s wife who is very much supportive to her mother-in-law’s decision. Other than these four Sohag Sen is also there in a significant role as Madhuri’s friend.
Definitely the biggest highlight of the film is its ensemble cast which includes some phenomenal actors. Also the story idea is quite refreshing. Hopefully the film will be able to grab attention of cine-goers. The movie is scheduled to release on November 29th, till then enjoy the trailer Bohomaan:
