“Kichchu Chaini Aami” song from “Shah Jahan Regency”
Here comes the first song Kichchu Chaini Aami from the movie Shah Jahan Regency directed by Srijit Mukherji. Everyone was waiting for the full version of the song since when we heard a portion of it in the trailer. Now the wait is over and full song is here:
This is a recreated version of a song Rajkumarir Gaan from the album Hoodkhola Kobitara. It was written by Dipangshu Acharya and composed by Prasen who had also sung the song. The same team of Dipangshu and Prasen has worked together to recreate the song for the film Shah Jahan Regency. The lyrics has been kept exactly same hopefully the same lyrics goes well with the narrative of the film. There is minimal change in musical arrangement keeping the composition same. Only change that has been done here is the voice of the singer. The earlier version was sung by Prasen and this time he has been replaced by actor Anirban Bhattacharya. Besides being a wonderful actor, he is a brilliant singer too. Thanks to this song this hidden talent of him comes to everyone’s notice. This is a melodious song about love and longing and one has to fall in love with the song after listening it for the first time.
In the video of the song we can see some romantic moments between Anirban Bhattacharya and Swastika Mukherjee and this fresh pair has shown excellent chemistry. Also the song shows some sort of equation between the characters played by Parambrata Chatterjee and Swastika. What is that equation that will be clear after watching the movie, till then fall in love with Kichchu Chaini Aami.
