Official trailer of the movie “Ke Tumi Nandini”
This April, Shree Venkatesh Films are coming with their new love story Ke Tumi Nandini which has been directed by Pathikrit Basu. The film has a fresh pairing of Bonny Sengupta and Rupsha Mukhopadhyay in the lead. Rupsha has earlier has worked on television and it will be her first big screen debut. Apart from them the film will also feature Aparajita Adhya, Shankar Chakraborty, Saurav Das, Saayoni Ghosh, Gaurab Chatterjee in supporting cast.
It is a story of two people Abir and Nandini played by Bonny Sengupta and Rupsha Mukhopadhyay. Nandini is a tomboyish girl from the small town of Krishnangar. Her life will change completely after falling in love with Abir. But Abir has his own back story which stops him to fall in love with Nandini. In the mean time Nandini has another suitor too in her life. In such a situation where destiny will take these two people that will be answered in the film.
Recently the trailer of the film has been released. Although it was said that the film is based on an original script written by Rudranil Ghosh but from the trailer it seems the film is inspired from Malayalam film Ohm Shanthi Oshaana which was released in 2014. How much similarities are there in these two films that can be answered only after its release. But from the trailer, the film is looking refreshing compared to other mainstream Bengali movies. Here the story is unfolding from the girl’s perspective which is very rare in mainstream commercial movies. Also the leading lady Rupsha Mukhoapdhyay is looking very impressive in the trailer. Hopefully this fresh pairing and comparatively fresh subject will help this love story to reach to its target audiences.
