Trailer of the movie “Shoteroi September”
Soham Chakraborty and Arunima Ghosh who were last seen together in Ranjan Ghosh’s film Rong Beronger Korhi, are all set to play husband wife once again in their upcoming film titled as Shoteroi September. The film has been directed by Amitabha Bhattacharya and produced by Camellia Films Production who had also produced Rong Beronger Korhi. Recently the trailer of the film has been released.
From the trailer, it can be said, it is a family drama revolving around a newly married couple who are about to get divorce. The trailer begins with the courtship days of the couple and it is followed by their current married life which is not so smooth. They are not a happily married couple and they want to get separated. Before their final hearing for divorce they have to attend a family wedding and during that period their family members help them to understand their relationship with a different perspective. They also convince them to rethink about their decision about divorce.
Now a days we can see, young married couples prefer to come out of joint family to set their own small nuclear family. It might give them more independence but with freedom there comes more responsibilities too, to run a family properly. If these young guys are capable enough to handle those responsibilities or they need guidance from elders, the film will focus on these relevant questions through a family drama.
The story idea is not much refreshing we have seen such stories in many movies earlier. One can not overlook the strong influence of super hit film Belasheshe in the trailer. Despite of that the good thing is such family dramas attract a large section of audience if presented properly connecting with the audience. Hopefully Shoteroi September will be able to that special connection with its target audience.
