Recently the trailer of the film has been released. It does not reveal much about the plot and briefly focus on the heartfelt emotional bonding between the four primary characters. In the trailer, all the lead actors are looking very much convincing in their parts including Dev. It seems Dev has improved a lot with his craft. Besides the lead actors, the other highlights of the trailer is the eye soothing cinematography by ace cinematographer Shirsha Ray, specially the sequences shot in the exotic locations of Darjeeling. The background score is also very pleasant to ears.

Few months back there were lots of controversies regarding that Sanjhbati’s story idea is similar with the film Gotro. After watching the trailer one can not deny that there are similarities in the basic story idea of both the movies but it looks like here the director duo has treated the subject with more sincerity and subtlety compared to Gotro. There are chances that Sanjhbati may leave more impact on the audience compared to Gotro. The film is scheduled to release on this December 20th till then watch the trailer of the film here:
