Trailer of the movie “Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan”
After getting much acclaim for the treasure hunt adventure film Jawker Dhan, director Sayantan Ghosal is back with the next film of this franchise titled as Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan. Unlike Jawker Dhan, it is not based on any story written by Hemendra Kumar Roy. It has been made on an original story written by Sougata Basu who has also written the screenplay and dialogues.
Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan will take forward the journey of the two lead characters Bimal and Kumar from the first part, with yet another new treasure hunt. Parambrata Chatterjee is playing Bimal once again but Rahul Banerjee has been replaced by Gaurav Chakrabarty as Kumar. This time the duo of Bimal and Kumar will go on an adventurous trip to an isolated island in Thailand in search of some hidden treasure. The two will be joined by a doctor played by Koel Mallick. Besides this trio the film will also feature Rajatava Dutta, Kaushik Sen, Kanchan Mallick and Shantilal Mukherjee in significant roles.
Recently the trailer of the film has been released in digital platforms and it is one well edited trailer which helps to increase curiously for the film. The trailer opens with a voice over that gives a hint about the hidden treasure that is red Mercury which can be used as an alternate source of energy. Both Kumar and Bimal want to find it for the welfare of mankind. They have been joined by doctor Ruby Chatterjee who is also in search of this chemical but she needs it to create some life saving drug for a kid. We also get to see glimpses of other two key players Rajatava Dutta who is sporting very different look as a local resident in Thailand and Shantilal Mukherjee who is most probably playing the villain.
The trailer makes sure that this time the canvas is much bigger and better. Just like the first part once again there will be lot of riddles which will serve as clue to the hidden treasure and Sougtata Basu is a master of writing such riddles that we have already seen in his earlier works like Alinagarer Golokdhadha. One thing that is the biggest highlight in the trailer is the eye catching cinematography by Ramyadip Saha. The exotic locations of Thailand have been captured brilliantly. Also there are some well shot under water sequences. The trailer also shows there is an extensive use of visual effects but the bad thing is the visual effects are not up to the mark. It could have been done in a better way. Despite of that shortcoming it seems Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan is going to be a thrilling experience in the theater. The movie is scheduled to release on December 6th, till then enjoy the trailer:
