Shiboprasad-Nandita will bring back the team of Belasheshe in their next film Belashuru

From last few years director duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy have became household names for Bengali movie lovers. They keep gifting back to back successful films every year. But for their fans 2019 is going to be more special as the director duo will have two releases in 2019. The director duo are ready to release their next film Kantho in January 2019. Recently they have announced their new film Belashuru that will also release in 2019. The film is more special because in Belashuru they will bring back the entire cast of their 2015 big hit Belasheshe. It will feature all the lead actors of Belasheshe which includes Soumitra Chatterjee, Swatilekha Sengupta, Rituparna Sengupta, Aparajita Addhya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Shankar Chakraborty, Indrani Dutta, Anindya Chatterjee, Monami Ghosh, Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee and the three child actors.

The cast is same and also the title of both the film has similarity so it may sound the films are connected. But the makers have made it very much clear Belashuru is neither a prequel nor a sequel of Belasheshe. It will be a completely different story about a family. They also informed that the story is inspired from a real life event that had happened with a family in Kolkata some years back. According to the directors Belasheshe was a huge success and the characters had became very popular so they have decided to bring back the same actors and characters but as part of a different family. Recently they had done similar practice in their last release Haami, where they had repeated the two popular characters Laltu and Mitali, played by Shiboprasad and Gargee Roychoudhury, from their earlier film Raamdhanu.

Like their previous films once again Nandita Roy has written the screenplay and Shiboprasad Mukherjee has worked on the dialogues. Once again Anindya Chatterjee and Anupam Roy will compose the songs. Shooting for the film will begin from end of November. There are plans to do shoooting at different locations of Kolkata, Shantiniketan and Bangladesh. Although there are plans to shoot in Bangladesh but it will not be a Indo-Bangladesh joint production. Normally the director duo release their movies during summer holidays but this time they are tight lipped about the release plans. There are possibilities that they may release it during Durga Puja. No matter whenever it releases we hope the reuniou of team Belasheshe will result into an even bigger success.
