“Mukherjee Dar Bou” is coming to redefine the relationship of Mother-In-Law & Daughter-In Law

Popular film maker duo Shiboprasad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy are currently busy with the shooting of their next directorial Belashuru but in between they are also producing a new film titled as Mukherjee Dar Bou. It will be about the relationship between a daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law. The film will be directed by debutante director Pritha Chakraborty who has earlier made the much acclaimed short film “Babara Thake Ei Bhabe Nisshobde“. The story has been written by yet another woman Samragyi Bandopadhyay who has also co-written the screenplay along with Pritha.

The central character of the film is Aditi, the wife of Mukherjee Da aka Mukherjee Dar Bou. Aditi takes care of the whole family including her mother-in-law. Just like any other family she also shares a sweet n sour relationship with her mother-in-law. But these equation changes, once a psychologist enters in their life. She teaches them to rediscover themselves as well as their relationship. She helps them to look into their bonding with a different perspective. Actress Konineeca Banerjee will be seen as Aditi and Anusua Majumdar will play her mother-in-law. Rituparna Sengupta who is a regular for Windows productions will make an appearance as the psychologist. Besides this three women the cast will also include Aparajita Addhya, Badshah Moitra and Biswanath Basu as Mukherjee Da.

Shooting for the film has already started from last month and it is expected to be released on the occasion International Women’s Day on 8th March 2019. According to the makers, the film has been made by women, revolves around the relationship of two women but it has not been made for just women, everyone in the audience will be able to connect with this film. So this International Women’s Day be ready to welcome Mukherjee Dar Bou.
