Pathikrit Basu to make a love story with Bonny Sengupta and Rupsha Mukhopadhyay
Director Pathikrit Basu who has earlier made movies like Haripada Bandwala, Total Dadagiri and Fidaa is all set to start working on his fourth film. Unlike his earlier movies this time it will not be a remake rather it will be a love story based on a script written by Rudranil Ghosh. This yet untitled film will feature Bonny Sengupta along with popular TV actress Rupsha Mukhopadhyay who will make her big screen debut with this film. The film will be produced by Shree Venkatesh Films.
According to the makers, it will not be a regular boy meets girl love story which we see in every other mainstream movie, it will be different kind of love story with which audience will be able to relate easily. The story will be set in Krishnanagar. It is a story of two people Abir and Nandini played by Bonny Sengupta and Rupsha Mukhopadhyay. Nandini is a tomboyish girl whose life will change completely after falling in love with Abir. But Abir has his own back story which stops him to fall in love with Nandini. Finally what will happen with this couple that we will obviously know after watching the film.
Apart from the lead pair, the film will also feature Aparajita Addhya, Shankar Chakraborty, Saurav Das, Rudranil Ghosh in supporting characters. Shooting for the film will begin towards the end of January at different locations of Krishnanagar and Kolkata.
