Birsa Dasgupta to start shooting for his next film titled as “Bibaho Obhijaan”

After taking a break for some months director Birsa Dasgupta is all set to hit the shooting floors once again. This time he is going to make a multi starer comedy titled as Bibaho Obhijaan which will be produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. Earlier, Birsa had directed Obhishapto Nighty which was also a comedy but according to him Bibaho Obhijaan will be treated in a different way. It’s approach will be more mainstream so that everyone in the audience can connect with it.

The story and script for the film has been written by actor Rudranil Ghosh who is also acting in the film. This will tell the story of three married couples. No matter it is an arranged marriage or love marriage every marriage has its own side effects and this film will represent those side effects in a comic way. The married couples will be played by Rudranil Ghosh and Sohini Sarkar, Ankush and Mimi Chakraborty and Anirban Bhattacharya and Priyanka Sarkar.  All these leading ladies have already worked with Birsa in many movies. On the other hand Ankush and Anirban will work with the director for the first time. Jeet Ganguli will compose music for the film and Srijato will write the lyrics. Shooting for the movie is about to start from the end of March with Shubhankar Bhar as the DOP.

Last year when SVF had announced the list of their upcoming movies that time they had announced a movie titled as Bibaho Obhijaan to be directed by Birsa Dasgupta. But that time it was supposed to be made on a different story then director Birsa Dasgupta heard this story and he liked it so much that he decided to work on it. Also the already registered title fit with this story so well that the makers decide to keep its name as Bibaho Obhijaan.
