After getting much appreciation at several film festivals and recieving special mention at National Awards, finally the much awaited film Kedara is all set to release in theaters this November 1st. This is the directorial debut of popular music composer Indraadip Das Gupta. He has also conceptualized the story idea. Based on that Srijato has written the screenplay and dialogues. The story is very refreshing and interesting. The story is about a lonely man who lives alone without any relative or caretaker. He is separated from his wife. He is almost detached from the outer world around him and prefer to spend most his time alone inside home. He has a special talent, he can talk in different voices including human, animals and nature. In his alone time he uses this talent and keeps talking in an imaginary conversation, with the persons who used to be close to him by making their voices.

Recently the trailer of the film has been released. The trailer itself shows how different the film making style is. It has altogether a different look and feel that grab attention very quickly. Subhankar Bhar’s cinematography has helped a lot to make the film looking visually appealing. Most of the trailer shows Kaushik Ganguly as the main protagonist. There is nothing new to say about Kaushik Ganguly as an actor, only it need to be mentioned that Kaushik Ganguly has received awards for his performance in this film. From the trailer it is looking convincing enough as an award winning performance. The trailer also gives small glimpses of Bidipta Chakraborty as his wife and Rudranil Ghosh as his neighbour. Although it does not disclose much about this characters but there presence in the film confirms some solid performances from the supporting cast as well. Singer Arijit Singh has composed the music for the film and whatever background score we can hear in this trailer that is fascinating.
