Director Kamaleswar Mukherjee wraps up shooting for his next psychological thriller “Anusandhan”
Recently director Kamaleswar Mukherjee has wrapped up shooting for his next film titled as Anusandhan, in London. The film has been shot entirely in England and it has became the first Indian film to be shot there after COVID-19 pandemic. In fact this is the first Bengali film that has been shot in abroad after this pandemic. As expected the whole shooting has been conducted following all the precautions and guidelines related to COVID-19. The whole cast and crew members were tested COVID negative two weeks before flying to London, they were again tested for Covid after reaching London before joining the shoot. During the shooting also they have maintained all the safety protocols. The film has been produced by Eskay Movies. After taking a short break from making movies, the production house has made a comeback to movie production with this film. In between they were involved in producing contents for OTT platforms.
Anusandhan is a psychological thriller and its story has been adapted from a play which was also directed by Kamaleswar Mukherjee. Earlier also he has directed psychological thrillers like Goodnight City and Mukhomukhi. As it is a thriller so no one in the crew is ready to talk much about the story line. It has an interesting cast full of talented actors which includes Saswata Chatterjee, Churni Ganguly, Paayel Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, Riddhi Sen, Joydeep Mukherjee and Priyanka Mondal. Director Kamaleswar Mukherjee has also acted in the film a significant character. As of now nothing has been confirmed about its release plan.
